How we do it

Every Friday a team of volunteers meet to record stories, article and information from that day's “Biggleswade Chronicle”. These recordings are duplicated on to cassette tapes which are sent post free to listeners (see Background for photos). Cassette players are provided to all users along with a special pouch for returning the cassette free of charge.

September 2011: Chairman, Nick Gurney has been nominated to carry the Olympic Torch.
August 2011: We have a vacancy for an Editor -  POSITION FILLED

July 29 2011: Chairman, Nick Gurney is flying out to Sweden to cover the World Scout Jamboree for Biggleswade Chronicle.

What we do

We produce a free weekly audio version of the “Biggleswade Chronicle" for those with visual impairment.  Here is  a sample news recording as delivered to our listeners on cassette tape.

Who's it for?

Anyone, with visual impairment living in Biggleswade and the surrounding area who would like to receive it.
